November 2017 Fitness Diary

Wednesday, November 1: This month’s exercise diary began with no exercise at all.

Thursday, November 2: I took advantage of a class-free day to walk 23.5 kilometers and listen to a lot of music.

Friday, November 3: More walking – approx 13 kilometers. I wish I had gone to the gym though.

Saturday, November 4: Back in the gym, but my workout was shortened by a 30-minute bus wait and was consequently rushed: sides, abs, lower back, lats, back, biceps, forearms, and calves.

Sunday, November 5: I walked another 10 kilometers.

Monday, November 6: Ditto, but I should have gone to the gym.

Tuesday, November 7: I caught the bus to work and walked home. A total of 6 kilometers, but that really shouldn’t count as exercise. Once again, I lacked the energy to go to the gym.

Wednesday, November 8: Walked home again.

Thursday, November 9: Walked home again.

Friday, November 10: Just some walking.

Saturday, November 11: After walking 8.5 kilometers throughout the day, I finally made it to the gym: chest, shoulders, triceps, traps, core, calves, and a 13-minute cardio session.

Sunday, November 12 – Friday, November 17: Just a little walking.

Saturday, November 18: Lazy day after my band played till well past 1 am.

Sunday, November 19: I walked about 9 kilometers.

Monday, November 20: I walked about 9 kilometers again, and I feel a sore throat coming on. Drats.

Tuesday, November 21: I felt a sore throat coming along.

Wednesday, November 22: Sick! Straight home after work and straight to bed.

Thursday, November 23: Feeling a little better. There are some bugs going around, so fingers crossed I just caught a 24-hour bug.

Friday, November 24: Thanksgiving dinner. I ate a lot.

Saturday, November 25: Zero

Sunday, November 26: Zilch

Monday, November 27: Nothing

Tuesday, November 28: Walked a little.

Wednesday, November 29: Cleaned my teeth.

Thursday, November 30: Well, Pretty much gave up this month. A nagging wee cold, plenty of work, and lots of guitar practise keep me from the gym. I am determined to return in December though. This past month was my most inactive in a decade, and well, I can’t repeat that. Time to get back into the habit of exercising regularly. An exercise diary without exercise is a bit of an embarrassment.
