Sunday, August 1: August began well with a 1 kilometer swim (my longest since pulling right lat muscle) followed by an hour in the gym: chest, shoulders, triceps, and 3 steep kilometers on the treadmill:
On Sunday July 18, an organization called "The World Peace Freedom United" displayed a powerful exhibition of photos from the Korea War. For those that missed it, I took photos of the exhibit with my trusty iPhone:
A look back on the semester that was on the KITT program. It was my first time to teach a class on the KITT program and I wanted to make a video to remind myself and the trainees of the good times we shared:
My plan for July is to really pick up the intensity and finish the month a lot fitter. These last couple of months I haven't felt like I've been improving my fitness, rather it feels like I've just been maintaining it and that simply isn't good enough! My weight has crept up again and while some (or all?) of that gain is muscle, I'm still heavier than I should be and I'm still eating too much. Mmmm food.
Tuesday, June 1: Seventy-five minutes in the gym to kick off my June fitness campaign: back, traps, lats, biceps, sides, abs, and 2.5 steep km on the treadmill:
Oops (I use that word a lot) I recently strained my right lat muscle and last week I visited a local acupuncture clinic to see if some ancient Chinese wisdom could help me out:
Oops, I almost let June pass by without a listening diary, but some unexpected free time late at night on June 22 sees me beginning this post as I cast my mind back and try to remember what I've been listening to these past few weeks.
