July 2014 Fitness Diary!

Tuesday, July 1: July began with a weights session: back, biceps, traps, and lats.

Sunday, July 6: Back exercising at a Gold’s Gym in Alexandria after a jet-lagged and busy few days: chest, shoulders, triceps, lower back, some hamstrings curls, and calf raises. And wow, the variety of equipment was staggering,

Friday, July 11: Back exercising in Korea after more days of jetlag: legs, legs, legs, sides, lower back, and a 750 meter run on a pair of tired legs

Saturday, July 12: Back, biceps, lats, and traps!

Tuesday, July 15: Chest, shoulders, triceps, calves, and lower back. No cardio because I left my towel at home.

Wednesday, July 16: A seven-kilometre run, my longest in a while:

Thursday, July 17: A solid core workout: sides, abs, planks, and lower back.
Friday, July 18: Just weights after a huge work-related free lunch: back, biceps, traps, and lats.
Saturday, July 19: Huge legs workout followed by the shortest sprint ever on account of that huge legs workout:

Monday, July 21: Chest, shoulders, triceps, core, and a sprint:

Wednesday, July 23: Back, lats, traps, biceps, and calves. A lot more emphasis on upper back (bent over rows) and around 280 calf raises.
Thursday, July 24: Just a legs workout in the afternoon.
Friday, July 25: Chest, shoulders, triceps, sides, lower back, and two sprints. The second 300 meters that ended at 19.5 kph.

Saturday, July 26: An unusual workout today – just calves and traps.
Sunday, July 27: A rare home workout that involved only bicep curls.
Monday, July 28: Back, lats, lower back, and doh – my old calf injury flared up again. I stopped immediately. Drats.

Tuesday, July 29: A super chest, shoulders, and triceps workout.

Wednesday, July 30: A 30-minute legs workout that included some skipping.

Thursday, July 31: On the seated exercise bike for the first time (40 minutes) to give my slightly strained calf a rest. That was followed by lower back extensions, calf raises, and skipping which unfortunately aggravated that calf injury a little bit. Oops.
