{"id":14068,"date":"2025-11-02T14:31:45","date_gmt":"2025-11-02T05:31:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/peterdaley.net\/home\/?p=14068"},"modified":"2026-02-08T06:14:24","modified_gmt":"2026-02-07T21:14:24","slug":"november-2025-fitness-diary","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/peterdaley.net\/home\/november-2025-fitness-diary\/","title":{"rendered":"November 2025 Fitness Diary!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Saturday, Nov. 1<\/strong>: The month began well with a weights session: leg extensions<strong>, <span style=\"color: #000080;\">hamstrings, glutes, calves, chest, shoulders, tricepe (W1)<\/span>. <\/strong>And my steps for the day: <span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong>19,589\/14 km.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Sunday, Nov. 2: <\/strong>The month continues to begin well with a brief weights session at night:<span style=\"color: #000080;\"> <strong>back, lats, and biceps (W2).<\/strong><\/span> And my steps for the day: <strong><span style=\"color: #000080;\">13,096\/9.55 km.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Monday, Nov. 3: <\/strong>Just some walking: <strong><span style=\"color: #000080;\">17,095 steps\/12.6 km.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Tuesday, Nov. 4:\u00a0<\/strong> An evening weights session: <strong><span style=\"color: #000080;\">shoulders, chest, leg extensions, hamstrings, traps, and calves (W3).<\/span> <\/strong>And my steps for the day: <span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong>13,169\/9.64 km.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Wednesday, Nov. 5:<\/strong> Just some walking: <span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong>15.415 steps\/11.3 km.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Thursday, Nov. 6: <\/strong>More walking on my longest teaching day of the week:<span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong> 10,009\/7.36 km.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Friday, Nov. 7: <\/strong>More walking and unfortunately no gym session: <span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong>18,266 steps\/13.4 km.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Saturday, Nov. 8: <\/strong>My first home cardio in a while happened <strong><span style=\"color: #000080;\">while watching It: Chapter 2 &#8211; 14 minutes (C1).<\/span> <\/strong>And my steps for the day: <strong><span style=\"color: #000080;\">7,441\/5.8 km.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Sunday, Nov. 9:<\/strong> Another gymless day. My steps for the day: <span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong>14,659\/10.9 km.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Monday, Nov. 10:<\/strong> More walking before and after class as I try to get into the habit of walking to work each day I teach: <span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong>16,812 steps\/12 km.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Tuesday, Nov. 11:<\/strong> I really should have gone to the gym today, but alas. My steps for the day: <span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong>15,344\/11.2 km.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Wednesday, Nov. 12:<\/strong> I finally returned to the gym for the session I should have had last Friday: <span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong>back, lats, lower back, traps, biceps, triceps, calves, leg extensions, hamstrings, and glutes (W4).<\/strong> <\/span>And my steps for the day:<span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong> 19,032\/13.3 km.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>I maintained my average number of steps most days, but due to a bit of a niggling cold, my two extra classes, and well just some laziness I suppose, I didn&#8217;t return to the gym until:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Wednesday, November 26: <\/strong>A short workout, but welcome one:<span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong> back, lats, biceps, leg presses, hamstrings, and very light chest and shoulders (W5).<\/strong> <\/span>And my steps: <span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong>13,260\/9.34 km.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>And that was it for the month. This teaching two extra classes is rough, but I&#8217;m keeping on top of things at work if not in the gym.
