I arrived at the gym after 10 p.m., so I went crazy for a good thirty minutes with the weights (and machines) as the clock was ticking. My gym closes at 11 p.m.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Saturday, April 4: <\/strong>A 32-minute cardio session in the evening before going out for the evening:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter \" src=\"http:\/\/peterdaley.net\/images\/fitness\/2015\/04\/02.jpg\" width=\"250\" height=\"389\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Sunday, April 5: <\/strong>A quick but serious legs workout which consisted of \u00a0leg extensions, leg presses, hamstring curls, and some calf raises.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Monday, April 6: <\/strong>Only time for a chest and shoulders workout today. Considering I was up till 5:20 am recording a podcast, that&#8217;s not a bad effort!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tuesday, April 7:<\/strong> Another short workout due to my perpetual busyness. I had a cardio workout in mind, but changed my mind when I realized I had left my water bottle at home. Why my gym doesn&#8217;t sell bottled water is a complete mystery to me. Tonight&#8217;s workout consisted of triceps, traps, and forearms.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Wednesday, April 8: <\/strong>Just a cardio workout to clear my mind temporarily of the 7-page interview I need to finish tonight:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter \" src=\"http:\/\/peterdaley.net\/images\/fitness\/2015\/04\/03.jpg\" width=\"250\" height=\"464\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Thursday, April 9: <\/strong>Another late night heavy workout: back, biceps, lats, and biceps.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Saturday, April 11: <\/strong>A 30-minute cardio session that ended with a bit of a sprint:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter \" src=\"http:\/\/peterdaley.net\/images\/fitness\/2015\/04\/04.jpg\" width=\"250\" height=\"553\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Sunday, April 12: <\/strong>A solid 25-minute leg workout after a late brunch.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Monday, April 13: <\/strong>A massive chest, shoulders, triceps, and traps workout late at night after an amazing afternoon power nap.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tuesday, April 14: <\/strong>Just cardio tonight on a night I didn&#8217;t actually want to be in the gym:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter \" src=\"http:\/\/peterdaley.net\/images\/fitness\/2015\/04\/05.jpg\" width=\"250\" height=\"418\" \/><br \/>\n<strong>Wednesday, April 15: <\/strong>Back to the campus gym ahead of a productive evening office session: back, lats, biceps, sides, calves, and lower back.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Thursday, April 16: <\/strong>A shorter, faster cardio workout today due to extreme busyness:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/peterdaley.net\/images\/fitness\/2015\/04\/06.jpg\" width=\"240\" height=\"439\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">Saturday, April 18: <\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">After a day off yesterday, I renewed my membership for another 6 months and celebrated the occasion with a massive chest, shoulders, triceps, and traps workout.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Sunday, April 19: <\/strong>A 50-minute evening workout of my smaller muscles: forearms, abs (OK my abs are pretty big), lower abs, sides, and calves.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Monday, April 20: <\/strong>A shorter, faster run in my old gym. Yes, I have two gym memberships.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter \" src=\"http:\/\/peterdaley.net\/images\/fitness\/2015\/04\/07.jpg\" width=\"250\" height=\"478\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Tuesday, April 21: <\/strong>A massive back, lats, biceps, and lower back workout. That was hardest back workout in a good while&#8230; maybe forever. I returned home to a bit of a medical emergency. I&#8217;m not entirely sure how it happened &#8211; I think a sock thread somehow got jammed against my toe. The result was a rather long and deep cut that almost (and perhaps should have) resulted in a late-night hospital visit.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/peterdaley.net\/home\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/toe.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-5585\" src=\"https:\/\/peterdaley.net\/home\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/toe.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"250\" height=\"238\" srcset=\"https:\/\/peterdaley.net\/home\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/toe.jpg 341w, https:\/\/peterdaley.net\/home\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/toe-300x285.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 250px) 100vw, 250px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">Wednesday, April 22: \u00a0<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">A legs workout sans cardio as I&#8217;m not keen in putting my cut toe into a sweaty show for a while.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Friday, April 24: <\/strong>A long chest, shoulders, triceps, and traps workout. Things started out lightly due to a wee cold and a bit of a headache, but I stayed in the gym longer and ended up doing a ton of sets.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Saturday, April 25: <\/strong>Back day again! Back, lats, biceps, and lower back. Unfortunately,\u00a0tomorrow is the last Sunday of the month, so my gym is closed. Bad gym! Tomorrow will be\u00a0all about getting a head start on the second half of the semester.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Monday, April 27:<\/strong> A ginger treadmill session. Not too long as I wasn&#8217;t sure how my not-quite healed toe was going:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter \" src=\"http:\/\/peterdaley.net\/images\/fitness\/2015\/04\/08.jpg\" width=\"250\" height=\"406\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Thursday, April 30: <\/strong>I guess no exercise that day.
