In between those sets, I completed 11 skipping sets of 110, 90, 105, 130, 105, 155, 120, 110, 140, 125, and 120 jumps. A total of 1,310 jumps which I think is a world record.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter \" src=\"http:\/\/peterdaley.net\/images\/fitness\/2018\/02\/01.jpg\" width=\"250\" height=\"452\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Sunday, February 4: <\/strong>Just about 9.5 kilometers of walking. Not really something I can call strenuous exercise.<\/span><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><b style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Monday, February 5: <\/b><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Unnecessary<\/span>\u00a0rest day.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Tuesday, February 6: <\/strong>I didn&#8217;t make it to the gym, but I at least got on my exercise bike for a late-night short session:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter \" src=\"http:\/\/peterdaley.net\/images\/fitness\/2018\/02\/02.jpg\" width=\"250\" height=\"435\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Wednesday, February 7:\u00a0<\/strong>Nothing.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Thursday, February 8:<\/strong> Ditto.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Friday, February 9:\u00a0<\/strong>Nothing again.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Saturday, February 10:\u00a0<\/strong>See above.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Sunday, February 11: <\/strong>I walked almost 15 kilometers. That kind of counts as exercise.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Monday, February 12:<\/strong> Today, I felt motivated again, and I arrived at the gym mentally ready to exercise. The result was the kind of workout I need to do 4-5 times a week. My session consisted of some weights: sides, lower back, abs, calves, chest, shoulders, traps, triceps, and forearms.\u00a0 The cardio part of my workout included 1,560 skipping jumps over 12 sets of 130, 130, 170, 150, 130, 160, 170, 140, 120, 120, 80, and 60 jumps, as well as eight treadmill minutes. Today also saw the start of another 12-week challenge. The challenge is to lose 10% of my body weight by Monday, May 7. I&#8217;m off to a good start in terms of exercise, but diet must also play a role. That&#8217;s the hard part.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter \" src=\"http:\/\/peterdaley.net\/images\/fitness\/2018\/02\/03.jpg\" width=\"250\" height=\"466\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Tuesday, February 13:\u00a0<\/strong>Eighteen minutes on my newish exercise bike.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter \" src=\"http:\/\/peterdaley.net\/images\/fitness\/2018\/02\/04.jpg\" width=\"250\" height=\"423\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Wednesday, February 14: <\/strong>Weights and 13 skipping sets: back, lats, biceps, forearms, calves, thighs, hamstrings, calves, lower back, abs, and sides.\u00a0 The skipping: 110, 120, 120, 120, 90, 120, 150, 120 60, 130, 110, 130, and 80, for a grand total of 1,460 jumps.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter \" src=\"http:\/\/peterdaley.net\/images\/fitness\/2018\/02\/05.jpg\" width=\"250\" height=\"451\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Thursday, February 15:\u00a0<\/strong>My gym is closed, so I walked most of the afternoon and evening, a total of 22.3 kilometers. It&#8217;s been a while since I&#8217;ve walked that much in a day!<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Friday, February 16: <\/strong>A day of rest.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Saturday, February 17: <\/strong>On my exercise bike for 13 whole minutes.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter \" src=\"http:\/\/peterdaley.net\/images\/fitness\/2018\/02\/06.jpg\" width=\"250\" height=\"457\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Sunday, February 18:\u00a0<\/strong> More walking, almost 23 kilometers. 22.94 to be exact if my app is accurate.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Monday, Feb. 19 to\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Wednesday Feb. 28: <\/strong>A few days of walking, but I neither made it to the gym nor got on my exercise bike.
