The good news, however, is that I have been eating both healthier and less.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Wednesday, June 6:<\/strong> I started the month almost a week late with some weights: chest, shoulders, triceps, traps, hamstrings, and a short run.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter \" src=\"http:\/\/peterdaley.net\/images\/fitness\/2018\/06\/01.jpg\" width=\"250\" height=\"469\" \/><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong>Thursday, June 7: <\/strong>Just a short evening core workout at home.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Friday, June 8:\u00a0<\/strong>Just one set of side raises and lower back extensions followed by 9 steep treadmill minutes.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/peterdaley.net\/images\/fitness\/2018\/06\/02.jpg\" width=\"250\" height=\"411\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Saturday, June 9:<\/strong> An intense legs and core workout.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Monday, June 11: <\/strong>At the gym by 7:30 a.m. after an amazing night&#8217;s sleep. Just 25 minutes of weights, but I felt it good the week off to a great start: back, lats, biceps, forearms, and core.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Wednesday, June 12:<\/strong> Just a short chest, shoulders, and triceps workout plus a little core.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Saturday, June 16:\u00a0<\/strong>Some weights and cardio: back, lats, biceps, a little core, forearms, hamstrings, light thigh workout, and 13 treadmill minutes.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter \" src=\"http:\/\/peterdaley.net\/images\/fitness\/2018\/06\/03.jpg\" width=\"250\" height=\"398\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Sunday, June 17:<\/strong> Some core work at home.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Monday, June 18:<\/strong> Just six steep treadmill minutes at a bit of a run. That&#8217;s all I had time for. I just needed to get a workout in early in case the rest of the weeks gets too crazy.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter \" src=\"http:\/\/peterdaley.net\/images\/fitness\/2018\/06\/04.jpg\" width=\"250\" height=\"390\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Tuesday, June 19:<\/strong> Another short cardio &#8211; I was just happy to have made it to the gym. Nine minutes, no running, steep incline.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter \" src=\"http:\/\/peterdaley.net\/images\/fitness\/2018\/06\/05.jpg\" width=\"250\" height=\"421\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Wednesday, June 20:<\/strong> A quick 27-minute weights session: chest, shoulders, triceps, traps, calves, and core.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Saturday, June 23: <\/strong>More weights: back, lats, biceps, hamstrings, calves, and just one set each for my forearms, sides, abs, and lower back<strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Sunday, June 24:<\/strong> A nice core workout at home Sunday morning before breaking my fast.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Monday, June 25: <\/strong>A quick weights session soon after my first ever 24-hour fast ended: chest, shoulders, triceps, traps, and legs.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tuesday, June 26: <\/strong>An early morning cardio session that was preceded by a quick set of side raises and lower back extensions.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter \" src=\"http:\/\/peterdaley.net\/images\/fitness\/2018\/06\/06.jpg\" width=\"250\" height=\"460\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Friday, June 29:\u00a0 <\/strong>A 55-minute weights session began in the morning\u00a0<span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_877594999\"><span class=\"aQJ\">14:15<\/span><\/span>\u00a0into my latest fast. Just a black coffee and some water was consumed beforehand. Most intense weights session for a while: back, lats, bicep, sides, lower back, abs, lower abs, thighs, hamstrings, and calves. A lemongrass tea afterwards did not technically break my fast which is now at the\u00a0<span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_877595000\"><span class=\"aQJ\">15:45<\/span><\/span>\u00a0mark.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Saturday, June 30:<\/strong> I ended the month well with another pre-breakfast workout that involved chest, shoulders, triceps, traps, and\u00a0 a 16-minute treadmill session.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter \" src=\"http:\/\/peterdaley.net\/images\/fitness\/2018\/06\/07.jpg\" width=\"250\" height=\"450\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Due to a bit a cold\/cough and being quite busy, June&#8217;s fitness campaign didn&#8217;t kick off until the anniversary of D-Day.
