My first fast of the month started on the evening of Tuesday, November 3.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong>Tuesday\/Wednesday (November 3 &amp; 4): <\/strong>That first November fast began at 8:21 p.m.\u00a0 Apart from a coffee at home with a small splash of milk, my fast lasted 20 hours 20.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/peterdaley.net\/images\/fitness\/2020fasting\/176.png\" width=\"200\" height=\"206\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Wednesday\/Thursday (November 4 &amp; 5):<\/strong> My second fast of the month began at 17:57 p.m. in the same seat at the same cafe as last night.\u00a0 A banana protein smoothie broke that fast just before my music club started at 11:53 a.m.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/peterdaley.net\/images\/fitness\/2020fasting\/177.png\" width=\"200\" height=\"191\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Thursday\/Friday (November 5 &amp; 6): <\/strong>Dinner was history by 6:33 p.m. and given my schedule tomorrow, I think I can make this a longer fast. The fast ended just a fraction after the 18.5-hour mark.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/peterdaley.net\/images\/fitness\/2020fasting\/178.png\" width=\"200\" height=\"195\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Friday\/Saturday (November 6 &amp; 7):\u00a0 <\/strong>My next fast wasn&#8217;t the cleanest with a drink at night that contained more than a few calories, but I at least made it through my morning class before eating.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Monday\/Tuesday (November 9 &amp; 10): <\/strong>After another little break, I completed a fast that was almost 19 hours long.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/peterdaley.net\/images\/fitness\/2020fasting\/179.png\" width=\"200\" height=\"200\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Tuesday\/Wednesday (November 10 &amp; 11):<\/strong> I started my fast late after another night gym session, and I made it well past the end of my only class. The resulting fast was almost 18 hours long.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/peterdaley.net\/images\/fitness\/2020fasting\/180.png\" width=\"200\" height=\"198\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Wednesday\/Thursday (November 11 &amp; 12):\u00a0<\/strong> A longer fast of almost 22 hours interupted by just a cafe latte in the morning.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/peterdaley.net\/images\/fitness\/2020fasting\/181.png\" width=\"200\" height=\"197\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Thursday\/Friday (November 12 &amp; 13): <\/strong>Another fast that included a latte a few hours before its end.<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/peterdaley.net\/images\/fitness\/2020fasting\/182.png\" width=\"200\" height=\"190\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Friday\/Saturday (November 13 &amp; 14):<\/strong> Caught up with work late at night, I decided to eat late at night instead of fasting.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Saturday\/Sunday (November 14 &amp; 15): <\/strong>A pizza dinner at home was finished at approximately 8:50 p.m. A lazy Sunday morning made fasting easier, and I begun a latte 16.5 hours later. I began solid foods at 2:04 p.m.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/peterdaley.net\/images\/fitness\/2020fasting\/183.png\" width=\"200\" height=\"199\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Monday\/Tuesday (November 16 &amp; 17):<\/strong> I completed my first clean fast in a while and I exercised soon after it began. I finished eating for the day at 3:10 and I began breakfast 18 hours and 55 minutes later at 10:05.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/peterdaley.net\/images\/fitness\/2020fasting\/184.png\" width=\"200\" height=\"200\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Tuesday\/Wednesday (November 17 &amp; 18): <\/strong>Today was a 2-meal day and both meals were normal run-of-the-mill not-too-big meals. I last mouthful disappreared at 7:51 p.m. Exactly 12 hours later, I found myself in a Starbucks with an Americano and a desire to get straight down to work, and I&#8217;m eyeing a gym session before breakfast soon after 10 a.m. Change of plans &#8211; a small latte at 10:15 as I continue working. I decided to eat sooner than originally planned, and I broke my fast just shy of 17 hours.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/peterdaley.net\/images\/fitness\/2020fasting\/185.png\" width=\"200\" height=\"194\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Wednesday\/Thursday (November 18 &amp; 19): <\/strong>I just had the one meal today and I finished eating at 1:30 p.m. I was sorely tempted to snack before bed, but I resisted and the resulting fast was 19:19.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/peterdaley.net\/images\/fitness\/2020fasting\/186.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"203\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Thursday\/Friday (November 19 &amp; 20):<\/strong> My next fast started a couple of minutes before 5 p.m. It&#8217;s now just after 10 p.m. and I&#8217;m feeling like I can easily go the rest of the night without eating. This fast should significantly exceed 16 hours. In the end, it didn&#8217;t exceed 16 hours by as much as I had expected, but I&#8217;m ok with that.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/peterdaley.net\/images\/fitness\/2020fasting\/187.png\" width=\"200\" height=\"205\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Friday\/Saturday (November 20 &amp; 21): <\/strong>My fast started at 3:33 p.m. following an hour in the gym, and I made it through until the end of my Saturday morning class. The resulting fast was 19 hours and 47 minutes.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/peterdaley.net\/images\/fitness\/2020fasting\/188.png\" width=\"200\" height=\"203\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Saturday\/Sunday (November 21 &amp; 22): <\/strong>It may be too early, but I started today&#8217;s fast at 12:43 p.m. It was indeed too early as after an intense evening weights session, I felt the need for food and protein. The fast was restarted at 8:23 p.m.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/peterdaley.net\/images\/fitness\/2020fasting\/189.png\" width=\"200\" height=\"193\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Sunday\/Monday (November 22 &amp; 23): <\/strong>The day&#8217;s fast started at 2:28 p.m., and it&#8217;s now 17.5 hours later and I&#8217;m doing okay. Breakfast was begun just as my fast hit the 19-hour mark.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/peterdaley.net\/images\/fitness\/2020fasting\/190.png\" width=\"200\" height=\"196\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Monday\/Tuesday (November 23 &amp; 24):<\/strong> My next fast started at 12:54 p.m. and I feel motivated enough to make this a really long one.
