The resulting fast was an incredibly easy one as I slept through most of it and had a really nice long sleep in Monday morning.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/peterdaley.net\/images\/fitness\/2021fasting\/004.png\" width=\"200\" height=\"203\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Monday\/Tuesday (Jan. 4 &amp; 5): <\/strong>The fasting clock started at 2:07 p.m. I think I&#8217;m set for the rest of the day although I do plan to walk for a few hours and do some weights later tonight. I walked for a couple of hours, but I didn&#8217;t do any weights, and I went to bed not feeling hungry. My fast is now just passing 20.25 hours, and I feel fine. I&#8217;m in no real rush to break this fast, but that&#8217;s not to say I won&#8217;t break it soon.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/peterdaley.net\/images\/fitness\/2021fasting\/005.png\" width=\"200\" height=\"197\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Tuesday\/Wednesday (Jan. 5 &amp; 6): <\/strong>The fasting clock started and then started again later at 5:20 p.m. It&#8217;s now almost 17 hours, so it&#8217;s already been a successful fast. I had a coffee with a splash of milk aaround that 17-hour mark. Regarding calories consuned, I&#8217;m just going to ignore that. I waited four more hours and then ate a home cooked meal of pasta with vegies, two pieces of toast, and a banana smoothie. That should do me for the day.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/peterdaley.net\/images\/fitness\/2021fasting\/006.png\" width=\"200\" height=\"203\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Wednesday\/Thursday (Jan. 6 &amp; 7): <\/strong>After that one large meal, the fasting clock started at 2:38 p.m. I walked 12 km in the evening and didn&#8217;t really feel hungry before bet. I broke my fast 17 hours later at the early time of 7:40 a.m.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/peterdaley.net\/images\/fitness\/2021fasting\/007.png\" width=\"200\" height=\"200\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Thursday\/Friday (Jan. 7 &amp; 8): <\/strong>I stopped eating at 2:12 p.m. and fasted for exactly 23 hours.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/peterdaley.net\/images\/fitness\/2021fasting\/008.png\" width=\"200\" height=\"197\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Friday\/Saturday (Jan. 8 &amp; 9): <\/strong>Friday was another one-meal day, granted that one meal was a hefty one. Anyway, the fasting clock started at 1:48 p.m. It&#8217;s now 8.5 hours later, and I feel fine. Breakfast was begun 20.3333 hours later.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/peterdaley.net\/images\/fitness\/2021fasting\/009.png\" width=\"200\" height=\"202\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Saturday\/Sunday (Jan. 9 &amp; 10): <\/strong>I decided to eat at night, and I started the fasting clock at 9:04 p.m, and then I broke that fast 18 hours later with a home-cooked meal of pasta and vegeables.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/peterdaley.net\/images\/fitness\/2021fasting\/010.png\" width=\"200\" height=\"199\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Sunday\/Monday (Jan. 10 &amp; 11):<\/strong> Back to an earlier start time with today&#8217;s fast starting at 3:33 p.m. A lazy morning helped me to 21 hours and 40 minutes.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/peterdaley.net\/images\/fitness\/2021fasting\/011.png\" width=\"200\" height=\"197\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Monday\/Tuesday (Jan. 11 &amp; 12): <\/strong>My longest fast of the month and therefore the year to date stemmed from the fact I had a doctor&#8217;s appointment in the afternoon, and I wasn&#8217;t sure if I needed to have a blood test. It turns out I didn&#8217;t. The result was a fast of 25.25 hours, and that included near its end 5.7 kilometers of walking.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/peterdaley.net\/images\/fitness\/2021fasting\/012.png\" width=\"200\" height=\"199\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Tuesday\/Wednesday (Jan. 12 &amp; 13): <\/strong>A shorter fast followed yesterday&#8217;s longer one. It started at 4:29 p.m. and ended at 10:23 p.m.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/peterdaley.net\/images\/fitness\/2021fasting\/013.png\" width=\"200\" height=\"201\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Wednesday\/Thursday (Jan. 13 &amp; 14): <\/strong>I stopped eating for the day at 2:41, and began a delicious steak sandwhich breakfast 21 hours later.<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/peterdaley.net\/images\/fitness\/2021fasting\/014.png\" width=\"200\" height=\"199\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Thursday\/Friday (Jan. 14 &amp; 15): <\/strong>Thursday&#8217;s fast started earlier after the one meal at 12: 18 p.m. It is now 11 p.m., and I feel pretty good. A little thirsty, but I am confident I am drinking enough water. My fast just passed the 21-hour mark, and I think I will eat soon. I ate just before the 22-hour mark.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/peterdaley.net\/images\/fitness\/2021fasting\/015.png\" width=\"200\" height=\"203\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Friday\/Saturday (Jan. 15 &amp; 16):<\/strong> Friday night, I had my second meal of the day. The fasting clock started at 8:39 p.m. Some exercise at home preceded the breaking of my fast just short of 18 hours.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/peterdaley.net\/images\/fitness\/2021fasting\/016.png\" width=\"200\" height=\"195\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Saturday\/Sunday (Jan. 16 &amp; 17): <\/strong>Starurday&#8217;s fast started after dinner, and it was a relatively short fast these days at just a little under 17.75 hours.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/peterdaley.net\/images\/fitness\/2021fasting\/017.png\" width=\"200\" height=\"203\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Sunday\/Monday (Jan. 17 &amp; 18): <\/strong>I broke my latest fast of 18 hours and 15 minutes at about 8:15 in the morning.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/peterdaley.net\/images\/fitness\/2021fasting\/018.png\" width=\"200\" height=\"198\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Monday\/Tuesday<\/strong> <strong> (Jan. 18 &amp; 19):<\/strong> I cooked some pasta and vegies for lunch and then started the fasting clock at 3:07 p.m.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/peterdaley.net\/images\/fitness\/2021fasting\/019.png\" width=\"200\" height=\"198\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Tuesday\/Wednesday<\/strong> <strong> (Jan. 19 &amp; 20): <\/strong>Today&#8217;s fast started at 3:19 p.m., and it was another long one at 20 hours and 55 minutes.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/peterdaley.net\/images\/fitness\/2021fasting\/020.png\" width=\"200\" height=\"199\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Wednesday\/Thursday<\/strong> <strong> (Jan. 20 &amp; 21): <\/strong>I finished my fast earlier than expected\u00a0 after 15 hours with a light meal as I waited an appointment at my embassy to get some docs apostilled. I wasn&#8217;t bothered by the shorter fast as I needn&#8217;t fast every day.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/peterdaley.net\/images\/fitness\/2021fasting\/021.png\" width=\"200\" height=\"194\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Thursday\/Friday<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>(Jan. 21 &amp; 22): <\/strong>I fasted from 2:46 p.m. Thursday afternoon until 12:21 on Friday afternoon. Again, I didn&#8217;t feel particularly hungry.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/peterdaley.net\/images\/fitness\/2021fasting\/022.png\" width=\"200\" height=\"204\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Friday\/Saturday<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>(Jan. 22 &amp; 23): <\/strong>My fast started at 8:38 p.m. after an amazing home-cooked meal with Su-bin. Breakfast was begun almost 18 hours later.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/peterdaley.net\/images\/fitness\/2021fasting\/023.png\" width=\"200\" height=\"203\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Saturday\/Sunday<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>(Jan. 23 &amp; 24): <\/strong>I cancelled today&#8217;s fast as more food was required after a pretty intense gym session.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sunday\/Monday<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>(Jan. 24 &amp; 25): <\/strong>Sunday&#8217;s fast started at 4:52 p.m. Fifteen and a half hours later, I&#8217;m sipping on a coffee with a touch of milk as I get read to start a three-hour class. I had breakfast a little earlier than planned after 17.5 hours during a break in class.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/peterdaley.net\/images\/fitness\/2021fasting\/024.png\" width=\"200\" height=\"193\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Monday\/Tuesday<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>(Jan. 25 &amp; 30): <\/strong>My fast started tat 1:19 p.m., and I think I am determined to make this a long one. I didn&#8217;t but that&#8217;s OK. I had a protein smoothie later at night after a pretty intense workout. The fasting clock started at 7:23 p.m. and I began breakfast 16 hours and 50 minutes later.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/peterdaley.net\/images\/fitness\/2021fasting\/025.png\" width=\"200\" height=\"202\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Tuesday\/Wednesday<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>(Jan. 26 &amp; 29): <\/strong>I started the fasting clock at 1:26 and stopped it exactly 21 hours later at 10:26.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/peterdaley.net\/images\/fitness\/2021fasting\/026.png\" width=\"200\" height=\"202\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Wednesday\/Thursday<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>(Jan. 27 &amp; 28): <\/strong>Another fast was started early in the afternoon, this one at 1:49 p.m. I began breakfast almost 20 hours later.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/peterdaley.net\/images\/fitness\/2021fasting\/027.png\" width=\"200\" height=\"205\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Thursday\/Friday<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>(Jan. 28 &amp; 29): <\/strong>I ate at night for a change, and it was a pretty big meal. The fasting clock started at 8:39 p.m. and I next consumed calories at 2:29 p.m.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/peterdaley.net\/images\/fitness\/2021fasting\/028.png\" width=\"200\" height=\"203\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Friday\/Saturday<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>(Jan. 29 &amp; 30):<\/strong> I ate at night after a gym session, so today&#8217;s fast was another fast that started pretty late &#8211; 9:47 p.m. to be precise. I had a coffee with a splash of milk at around 8 a.m., and as I type this, my fast is approaching 11 hours.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Saturday\/Sunday (Jan. 29 &amp; 30): <\/strong>Today&#8217;s fast began after a dinner at home.
