On June 19, 2010, I celebrated the end of a very busy semester with a trip down to Pusan with two lucky coworkers, Jeff and Lee. The highlight for me was winning at the casino (that lucky number 16 again) with the shark dive a close second:
In April of 1998, I traveled to Africa for a three-month long African safari operated by Bukima Adventure Tours with my good friend John Douglas. I have done quite a lot of traveling, but nothing compares to my experiences in Africa. Here is a short montage featuring some of my favorite photos from that trip. The music is by Hans Zimmer from his score to the film The Power of One.
The weekend my nephews visited from Australia was simply wonderful. I’ve stayed at my sister Liz’s place in Sydney on countless occasions over the decades, and now I finally had the chance to reciprocate and play the host to Liz, Chris, Tae, and Seong. What great guests they were, and what fun we had! Come back soon!
The Chuseok holiday in 2008 was a very memorable and happy day as myself and several GMBA classmates headed to Ubang Towerland for several hours of pure fun. Thank you Seon for organising the day and inviting me. It was one of my most enjoyable days in Korea.
I made the following montage of the day using the great photos Sean took. The first piece of music, a bright energetic piece for 9 celli, is by Japanese composer Joe Hisaishi from his score to the 1989 animation Kiki’s Delivery Service. The second piece, also by Joe Hisaishi, is entitled “Spring” from his Piano Stories 4 CD.
