February 2015 Fitness Diary!

Monday, Feb. 2: Back, biceps, lower back, lats, calves, and inner forearms despite feeling a cold coming on, or maybe that’s just tiredness from my flight back and a return to work this morning.

Tuesday, Feb. 3: Chest, shoulders, triceps, hamstrings, and traps straight after my evening class. I’m so glad I joined this gym with its longer opening hours!

Wednesday, Feb. 4: Thighs! Just thighs (after my evening class again). I love working out at night! That’s the kind of thigh workout I should have been doing since I started this exercise campaign way back in 2008. That cold I felt coming on never eventuated, but I did feel worse on Tuesday.

Saturday, Feb. 7: Just a cardio session today, my first since returning to Korea on Sunday:

Sunday, Feb. 8: Back, lats, biceps, and calves followed by a 40-minute break during which I wrote most of January’s fitness diary. Then back downstairs to the weights room for more: calves (again), biceps (again), abs, sides, and inner and outer forearms. I really should look up the names of those forearm muscles.

Wednesday Feb. 11: Chest, shoulders, triceps, traps, and cardio:

Thursday, Feb. 12: Just legs after my evening class: thighs, hamstrings, and calves.

Sunday, Feb. 15: A solid and slightly overdue back workout: back, lats, and biceps plus a cardio workout while watching the end of Predators on the treadmill’s super futuristic monitor:

Monday, Feb. 16: Tonight I focused on my most neglected muscles: abs, lower abs, lower back, forearms, and calves.

Tuesday, Feb. 17: Just 30 minutes of cardio ahead of my evening class:

Wednesday, Feb. 18: A weights-only session that left me utterly exhausted: chest, shoulders, triceps, ….

Friday, Feb. 20: Another weights only session that wore me out: back, biceps, biceps, forearms, calves, and thighs (leg extensions).

 Saturday, Feb. 21: No exercise, but I did buy my very first Mac computer, a brand-spanking  new and shiny MacBook Air (and a Captain America iPhone charger):

Sunday, Feb. 22: To Itewon’s Hamilton Hotel for a cardio session because today is the one day of the month (the 4th Sunday) my gym is closed:

Monday, Feb. 23: Back in my regular gym on Monday for a chest, shoulders, triceps, traps, forearms, and calves workout.

 Unfortunately and regrettably, that was it for the month. On paper the last week of February (the last of the winter vacation) should have been a week full of gym visits, but partly due to the record yellow dust levels which saw me wear a mask outside for the first time and partly due to some cult-related antics, February, at least exercise wise, sadly ended on February 23.
