The first Nakwon Supporters program ended memorably with a short performance on Nakwon’s 4th-floor outdoor stage on Saturday, June 18. In attendance was a film crew from KBS TV who were recording for a documentary that will air on the evening of July 10. Stardom and fame, here we come! 😀
Mimi Roh took the stage first for two songs, and then my band and I replaced her for three of our regular covers: “Happy” La Bamba/Twist & Shout”, and “Brown-Eyed Girl/The Lion Sleeps Tonight”. We had the honor of warming the stage for the band Sanctus, some of whom have been playing together for 45 years. What a pleasure it was to meet them and see them perform. Inspirational! 🙂
