October 2018 Fitness Diary!

Monday, October 1: A started the month with a treadmill session:

Wednesday, October 3: A pretty solid 44-minute weights session: thighs, calves, hamstrings, sides, abs, lower back, lower abs, and forearms.

Friday, October 5: A pre-breakfast morning weights and cardio session: back, lats, biceps, abs, lower back, and 21 treadmill minutes. And at 82.5 kilograms, that’s the lightest I’ve been in over 15 years maybe? It’s certainly been a while!

Saturday, October 6: A 55-minute weights session in the early afternoon: shoulders, traps, hamstrings, calves, abs, sides, lower back, chest, triceps, and forearms.  I needed a protein shake after all that!

Monday, October 8: I walked 11 kilometers throughout the day if that counts.

Tuesday, October 9: A pretty intense weights session ended with a 23-minute cardio session: back, lats, biceps, calves, and core.

Thursday, October 11: A longer weights session featuring more sets than usual: shoulders, traps, sides, lower back, calves, triceps, chest, abs, and lower abs.

Friday, October 12: A 13-minute jog/run, and later in the evening I walked 14 kilometers.

Saturday, October 13: An afternoon weights session: back, lats, biceps, lower back, calves, thighs, hamstrings, abs, lower abs, and sides.

Monday, October 15: Despite not eating all day, I had  a lot of energy when I hit the gym around 5ish for an hour-long weights session: chest, shoulders, triceps, traps, calves, forearms, abs, sides, lower abs, and lower back. I will surely be sore tomorrow.

Tuesday, October 16: This year’s birthday workout consisted solely of a 24-minute treadmill session:

Thursday, October 18: A morning weights session: back, lats, biceps, calves, sides, abs, lower abs, and a little lower back.

I ended this month’s fitness campaign a couple of week’s early on doctor’s orders. I spent a few days in hospital (Saturday, Oct. 20 through to Tuesday, Oct. 24). The ban on exercise actually stems from one of the tests performed on me rather than the underlying condition which will remain a mystery until a follow-up appointment on November 1.
